The time indicated on the booking confirmation corresponds to the start of the guided tour. Groups are therefore asked to arrive at reception 15 minutes early to confirm their presence.
Visit options

Across 17 themed spaces, explore independently the unique history of Alsace and the Moselle region, from 1870 to the construction of Europe.
Through archival materials (posters, propaganda films, photographs, etc.) and exceptional scenography, visitors discover the daily lives of Alsatians and Mosellans during the Second World War.
The admission fee is €8 per person for groups of at least 15 people.
To explore the topics in greater depth, the Mémorial’s visitor app (available on Android and iPhone) as well as our educational resources, can be accessed free of charge.
The price of a guided tour in French for a group of 15 to 35 people is €85.
This price does not include the admission fee, which is €8 per person.
The price of a guided tour in foreign languages (German or English) is €105.
For groups of more than 35 people, a second guide will be assigned.
Groups exempt from admission fees and requesting a guided tour must pay a flat rate of €85 for a guided tour in French and €105 for a guided tour in foreign languages.
General

Based on archival documents, photographs, propaganda films, and posters, the guide presents the specific history of Alsace and the Moselle region from 1870 to the construction of Europe.
The central period covered during this visit focuses on the daily lives of Alsatians and Mosellans during the Second World War.
The tour concludes with a space dedicated to European integration, Franco-German reconciliation, as well as themes related to citizenship, freedom of expression, tolerance, and human rights.
Vorbruck-Schirmeck: in the footsteps of a forgotten camp
An exceptional visit offering deeper insight into this security camp, little known to the general public, where nearly 15,000 men and women (who opposed the Nazi regime) were subjected to mistreatment and humiliation.
Practical information:
- This visit requires a moderate level of walking (5 km walking loop) and appropriate clothing depending on the weather.
- Duration: approximately 4 hours, including around 2 hours outside the Mémorial.
- €5 per person in addition to the Mémorial admission fee.
- Booking required.

Groups visiting the European Parliament
For groups coming from the European Parliament, during the high season (February to June and October to December), self-guided visits are available free of charge between 11:00 a.m. and 12:45 p.m., and after 3:00 p.m.
Depending on guide availability, guided tours remain reserved for groups paying the entrance fee.

Parking
Coach parking must be used on the designated parking area located opposite the Mémorial, with an estimated walking time of around 15 minutes to reach the entrance of the Mémorial Alsace-Moselle.
Exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis for visitors with reduced mobility. Requests must be sent no later than five days before your visit to: reservations@memorial-alsace-moselle.com
For buses unable to pass under the SNCF bridge, student drop-off must take place along the road in designated areas. Checks may be carried out by the police or local authorities, and the Mémorial cannot be held responsible for any fines.
