THE FRIENDS OF THE MEMORIAL ASSOCIATION
The Friends of the Alsace-Moselle Memorial Association (AMAM) was created in September 2000.
It was presided by Jean-Louis English (journalist and regional director of France3) until his death in 2003. The former Regonal Inspector for the National Education system Marcel Spisser took over the position. His mission is to propose events linked with the history of Alsace-Moselle, as well as promote the Memorial.
The association publishes, third a year, the ‘Courrier du Mémorial’ (newsletter of the Memorial). It also proposes history gathering café (monthly) and historical treasure hunt and colloque (annually).
